Flitwick Wood is a small semi-natural ancient woodland on the south-western edge of the town. Part is owned by Central Bedfordshire Council and is open to the public, the remainder is privately owned. In spring it has a fine display of bluebells and wild garlic, and the locally scarce wild daffodil.
